I’ve also find that the default stereo piano is really nice by itself if I layer it with the grand piano it sound almost too full – I guess that is personal preference, I wish it had some kind of EQ – so I could balance it better to my taste. I have a Privia PXr which I believe is the one model release back. Most Online 15, Mar 21st, Finding piano pieces by Arnes. Casio claims this is privai lightest hammer-action digital piano on the market currently, and I think they are right.

There are better arrangers available easily. Yeah, I agree with all comments above – the 32 note polyphony of the PX is shallow and so are the arranger features, but damn what a nice feel and sound on that stereo acoustic piano. The one big problem with the Casio’s including the WK series[also good sounds] I played around with the arranger section a little and it’s very basic I’d be tempted to gig with this newer Privia and an MP3 player The sound through the speakers is OK, but through headphones it is very good, and I’m just using a pair of Ipod ear buds, tomorrow, I’m going out to buy a good pair of sennheiser headphones.
I had a chance to play the new PX yesterday and I was simply blown away by it.

The sound level does improve from entry level models as you go up to the more expensive units. Switch to Threaded Mode.
If their new series of boards actually have the 64 note polyphony that the website says then they will be much better. As for there cassio The stand is included.
The arranger features are almost an afterthought, but at least we now know that a lightweight low cost note arranger is not too much to ask for.
I haven’t noticed any problem with Polyphony, but I play chordal style with full chords in both hands using inversions and breaking them up in rythm with a little melody thrown in for good meausre.
